With increasing global emphasis on circular economy principles, the industrial sector is transitioning from conventional linear production models toward systems that minimize waste, maximize resource utilization, and encourage recycling and regeneration. This workshop aims to explore innovative strategies that promote sustainability, resource efficiency, and environmental responsibility within various industrial sector including leather industries. Emphasizing the core principles—designing out waste, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems —the program will highlight practical approaches to optimize resource efficiency, minimize environmental and social impacts, and promote sustainable economic growth. Through discussions and case studies, participants will gain insights into implementing circular practices that balance progress with long-term sustainability.
