Theme: “Intelligence for a Sustainable Tomorrow”
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, through the School of Computer Science Engineering and Information Systems, is organizing SustainAI 2026 – Industry–Academia Conclave 2.0, a six-day ecosystem of innovation, knowledge exchange and industry–academia collaboration focused on harnessing intelligent technologies for a sustainable tomorrow.
With the theme “Intelligence for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” SustainAI 2026 brings together industry leaders, domain experts, researchers, faculty members, students and innovators to explore how Artificial Intelligence, intelligent computing and emerging technologies can address real-world environmental and societal challenges.
The programme is structured across three complementary phases, creating a continuous journey from ideation and problem-solving to knowledge exchange, hands-on learning and technology development.
Phase 1 – Innovation Challenge Series | 6–8 October 2026
The Innovation Challenge Series features three focused challenges designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving and technology-driven innovation:

Phase 2 – SustainAI 2026: Industry–Academia Conclave 2.0 | 9–10 October 2026
The flagship two-day conclave will feature visionary keynotes, expert technology talks, thought-provoking panel discussions and industry–academia networking. Sessions will explore intelligent technologies and their applications across healthcare, sustainable agriculture, climate and atmospheric intelligence, spatial intelligence and sustainable ecosystems.
The conclave provides a platform for meaningful interaction between academia and industry, enabling participants to exchange knowledge, identify emerging opportunities and build pathways for collaborative research, applied projects and internships.
Phase 3 – Skill & Innovation Experience | 9–11 October 2026
The Skill & Innovation Experience provides participants with hands-on exposure to emerging technologies through:
