VIT Business School (VITBS), established in September 1994, is in its Silver Jubilee Year. We have campuses at VIT-Vellore, VIT-Chennai, VIT-AP and VIT-Bhopal.
About VIT Business School
VIT Business School endeavours to develop thought-leaders, who are innovative, socially sensitive, ethically strong and globally competent. VITBS offers under graduate (BBA ), post graduate (MBA) and Doctoral (Ph. D) programs in Business. The programs are designed to infuse strong industry-relevant business principles with deep insights, influencing practice and actively collaborating with Foreign Universities and Industry. VITBS celebrates diversity in its campuses with International and pan-India Students and Faculty members. International students hail from Europe, Africa and Asia. The school collaborates with Foreign Universities for Overseas Experiential Learning (OLEP), Adjunct faculty and Foreign degree on Credit Transfer mode. The Industrial collaboration extends for research, consultancy, internships, projects and placements.
VITBS is a fully digitised B-school that facilitates research and learning with relevant e-learning resources from Harvard Business School Publishing, Emerald et al; exhaustive access of journals, databases such as EBSCO, ABI infom, CMIE prowess, and CAPEX; and, many software and tools.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A minimum of 60% marks or First Class is required in Classes 10, 12/Diploma and in any undergraduate degree from a recognized University or Institution.

The Bachelor's degree must be of at least three years’ duration following higher secondary education (10+2 & 3 / 4 / 5 year) or its equivalent.

Candidates appearing for their final year undergraduate examination in 2026, with results expected on or before 14th August 2026, are also eligible to apply.

Candidates must either appear for the VIT Business School Entrance Examination (VITBEE 2026) or submit a valid scorecard of CAT / XAT / MAT.

A 10% relaxation in UG degree eligibility is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories and those from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and the North Eastern states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).

FEE REFUND POLICY: AS PER UGC NORMS
SCHOLARSHIPS
Students who possess a valid aptitude score or percentile are eligible to get the fee waiver mentioned below.
- CAT/XAT Score of 95 percentile and above are eligible for full tuition fee waiver.
- CAT/XAT Score of 90 percentile and above are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver.
- MAT score of 791 to 800 are eligible for full tuition fee waiver.
- MAT score of 760 to 790 are eligible for 50% tuition fee waiver.

The candidates should produce statement of final year marks and Provisional degree certificate on orbefore August 14th 2026, failing which admission will be cancelled with the forfeit of admission fee.

Rs. 3,51,500 in the first year (including a refundable Rs. 3,000 caution deposit) and Rs. 3,48,500 in the second year, plus a Rs. 5,500 alumni and mark sheet fee in year two.
Yes. Candidates with a CAT/XAT score of 95 percentile or above, or a MAT score of 791-800, receive a full tuition fee waiver; lower score bands receive a 50% waiver.
