Chem-A-Thon is the flagship event of AIChE-VIT. It is a 36-hour hackathon where the students are provided with problem statements related to various fields of Chemical Engineering, for which they have to design working models and solve the specific complications. The students are provided with additional supplies they need. This span of 36 hours includes 3 checkpoints conducted by the faculties to guide the students. CHEM-A-THON is an annual competition that welcomes undergraduate students from all universities pan-Asia; specifically Gulf, Japan and other south-east Asian countries. It creates an environment that helps promote their achievements and engage in discussions with faculty, researchers, and industry professionals.
