Climate change is increasingly affecting energy systems, air quality, food production, and the built environment, creating an urgent need for practical tools that enable communities to observe and respond to environmental changes. This hands-on course introduces participants to

  • AIoT technologies for climate monitoring and sustainability applications using a purpose-built hardware platform consisting of packaged environmental sensors, BLE-enabled interface modules, and a Raspberry Pi gateway that performs local data ingestion, storage, and analytics without requiring cloud infrastructure.
  • Participants will learn to collect and analyze environmental data, including temperature, air quality, solar irradiance, motion, and energy consumption. A distinctive feature of the course is AI-native "vibe coding"

Thematic Area: IoT sensors and interfaces, BLE communication, Raspberry Pi edge computing, Python, time-series data processing, InfluxDB, Grafana dashboards, REST APIs, and AI-assisted coding tools.
