Our industrial visit to Ramaiah Medical College offered an enriching glimpse into cutting-edge medical technology. From the Virtual Anatomy Lab to the Da Vinci Surgical System, we explored innovative ways to study human anatomy, surgical procedures, and healthcare simulations. Observing cadaver-based surgery, SimMan technology, VR/AR integration, EBUS, and mechanical endoscopy training models expanded our appreciation for modern medical education and precision treatments. Interacting with Meghalaya doctors refining their skills on mannequins further highlighted the importance of hands-on learning in advancing healthcare. Overall, this visit deepened our understanding of the evolving medical landscape.
