This seminar explores the complicated dynamics of human mobility, transcending traditional boundaries to explore migration through the converging lenses of Literature, Sociology, Anthropology and Cultural Studies. As global movement redefines concepts of citizenship, community, and 'home,' it is imperative to analyze not just the political frameworks of migration, but the lived experiences and cultural production of diaspora communities. The seminar will navigate the intersection of state policy and personal narrative. It will challenge participants to critically examine themes such as transnationalism, social assimilation, and the reconstruction of identity in foreign landscapes. The seminar aims to foster a rigorous dialogue on how migration narratives are shaped, represented, and understood in contemporary global discourse
