SELECT Makeathon is a flagship annual event comprising a 36-hour collaborative challenge where students, designers, and hackers develop innovative solutions to real-world problems presented by industries and individuals. The event commences with challenge introductions, followed by team brainstorming, ideation, and prototype development encompassing both hardware and software domains. Teams refine their solutions through iterative feedback from need-knowers, individuals possessing expertise in the respective challenges. A judging panel evaluates all projects at the event's conclusion, recognizing the most outstanding solutions. This platform facilitates hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration, annually attracting over 50 participating teams.
