This two‑day workshop aims to bring together faculty members and researchers to explore the latest technologies, tools, and strategies for disaster risk reduction (DRR) in India. With the increasing frequency and intensity of natural hazards such as floods, landslides, cyclones, earth- quakes, and avalanches, the role of science and technology in disaster preparedness and mitigation has become more critical than ever.
