Overview
The Analog System Design Laboratory (TT246) is a well-equipped facility designed to provide hands-on experience in the analysis, design, and implementation of analog electronic circuits and systems. The lab supports undergraduate courses enabling students to bridge theoretical concepts with practical applications in electronics and communication engineering.
The laboratory emphasizes fundamental and advanced topics such as semiconductor device characteristics, amplifier design, frequency response analysis, oscillators, and integrated circuit designs. Students are trained to design, simulate, and experimentally verify circuits, fostering strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

INFRASTRUCTURE AND WORKBENCH DETAILS
The laboratory consists of 18 fully functional workbenches, each designed to accommodate small groups of students for collaborative and effective learning. Every workbench is equipped with essential instruments required for conducting a wide range of experiments.
INFRASTRUCTURE AND WORKBENCH DETAILS
- Digital Storage Oscilloscope (DSO): 0–200 MHz bandwidth for precise signal visualization and measurement.
- Function Generator (FG): 0–20 MHz range for generating various waveforms (sine, square, triangular, etc.)
- Multi-output DC Power Supply: Provides regulated DC voltages for circuit operation
- Digital Voltmeters and Ammeters: For accurate measurement of voltage and current parameters.

- V-I characteristics of semiconductor devices (Diodes, BJTs, MOSFETs)
- Design and analysis of single-stage and multi-stage amplifiers
- Frequency response and bandwidth measurement
- Feedback amplifier analysis
- Oscillator circuits (RC, LC, and crystal oscillators)
- Wave shaping circuits (clippers and clampers)
- Linear Integrated circuits
