INTERNATIONAL VISITING STUDENTS AT CBCMT 2025
CBCMT- Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) welcomes student exchange program, Alice Das Graças, a master’s degree in bioengineering from Polytech Clermont-Ferrand in France, to our Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics CBCMT-VIT, She will perform her short-term research at the Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT) for 5 months, from march 3rd to august 1st 2025 to work on optimization and characterization of polyglucuronic acid (PGU)-based biomaterial inks containing nanoceria for wound healing applications under the supervision of Dr Arunkumar Palaniappan, Assistant Professor, CBCMT, VIT.
INTERNATIONAL VISITING STUDENTS AT CBCMT 2024
CBCMT- Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) welcomes student exchange program, Léa Gobelin, a master’s degree Student in biotechnologies from the engineering school Polytech Clermont-Ferrand in France, to our Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics CBCMT-VIT, She will perform her short-term research at the Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT) for 6 months, from April 8th to august 7th 2024 to work on optimization and characterization of a bioink based on oxy cellulose under the supervision of Dr Arunkumar Palaniappan, Assistant Professor, CBCMT, VIT.
Mr. Fasogbon, Ilemobayo Victor from Kampala International University, Uganda has successfully completed his short-term research internship in the field of Molecular and Computational Biology under the supervision of Dr. Loganathan Rangasamy for a period of 6 weeks from 27-01-2024 to 09-03-2024 through the support obtained from CBCMT and DBT Ramalingaswami Re-entry Fellowship.
CBCMT welcome our new international intern, Boutheina ZENDER, a Master’s Degree student in Bioengineering from Bahcesehir University (BAU), Istanbul, Turkey, to our Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore. She came through an International internship through AIESEC India Chapter – Incoming Global Talent programme (Association Internationale des étudiants en sciences économiques et commerciales – International Association of Students in Economics and Business). She will perform her short-term research at the Centre for Biomaterials, Cellular and Molecular Theranostics (CBCMT) for 8 weeks during Winter Semester 2023 (From 09th Jan 2023 to 08th March 2023). She will be working on Proteolysis targeting chimeric (PROTAC) technology under the supervision of Dr. Loganathan Rangasamy, Associate Professor, CBCMT, VIT.
