Overview
The Bio-signal processing lab is the core teaching facility under the school of Electronics Engineering (SENSE).where the biological signal from the human body measured, analyzed and interpreted by using software algorithams.The signal generated by the human body such as ECG,EEG,EMG,PPG,EOG.The above signals we can diagnosis and for research analysis. Helping in understanding the body function and improving disease diagnosis. The signals are observed through oscilloscope and data acquisition systems.
Objectives
- To study the different types of signals (ECG,EMG,EEG).
- To learn how to connect sensors and electrodes for recording the signals from human body
- To identify weak biological signals to remove the noise and interference using filters.
- To work with software tools matlab and python.
- To perform the experiment and record the signal accurately.
Key Focus Areas
- Collecting the signals from human body using sensors and electrodes for proper bio signal acquisition
- Removing unwanted disturbances from the signals using different filter techniques
- The signals can be analysed using different method like time domain, frequency domain and DSP methods.
- The signals can be identified by normal and up normal condition.
- We can learn working of ECG, EMG, EEG instruments.
