Established as a hospitality entity in 2016, the School of Hotel & Tourism Management (HOT) employs innovative teaching methods and adopts lab based approaches to learning. One full semester Industrial Exposure Training (IET) is offered to students in reputed hotels, leisure and hospitality sectors. B.Sc Catering and Hotel Management

  • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with minimum of 60% overall aggregate. Candidates appearing for class XII final can also apply.
  • Programme is designed with Curriculum Based Learning (CBL)
  • Semester Pattern (VI Semesters)
  • Soft skills training
  • Mandatory guest lectures by industry experts
  • Workshop, seminars and field trips
  • Duration : 3 years (Full time)
  • Full semester Industrial Exposure Training (III or IV - Semester)

  • Understand the fundamentals of the Hotel Industry, Commercial Kitchen operations, Front Office, Accommodation operation, Food & Beverage Service and the wines.
  • Exhibit professional and ethical standards, effective communication skills, teamwork spirit, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach for successful careers and to be able to compete globally, function as leaders, as entrepreneurs, and manage information efficiently and to engage in lifelong learning
  • Having an ability to be socially intelligent with good SIQ (Social Intelligence Quotient) and EQ (Emotional Quotient)
